Over the past 2 years the Bridgwater Chamber of Commerce has seen a increase in local companies willing to step up to the plate and shout about how well they are performing in the very worst of economic climates. On the back of this and with the aid of some of its patrons, it was suggested that we give local Sedgemoor Companies the chance to stand up and tell all of their achievements and successes. Hence the Sedgemoor Business of Excellence Awards were launched last year.
The success of the inaugural event last March surpassed all expectations and indeed we sold all 200 tickets for the event.
The launch of the 2014 event is again due to the efforts of its volunteer committee and is hoped to attract upwards of 300 business people next March.
The Sedgemoor Business Awards committee supported by the Bridgwater Chamber / SDC and other patrons now invite companies and staff to put their companies forward for an award and commit to tickets for the event which will surely sell out rapidly
